Thank you very much for your interest in our rescue dogs.  Our goal is to match dogs and families so that everyone’s needs are met.  We try to thoroughly screen all our dogs for temperament, activity level, possible training challenges and overall personality.  All of our rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped before being placed in a new home.  In addition they have lived with one of our foster families for at least two weeks so that we can better know each dog.

Because of the time and expense we put into each dog there is an adoption fee of $175.00 for Adults and $200.00 for Puppies.  The fee allows us to pay for expenses incurred and to help the next Cattledog who needs us.  In addition to the questions below we would like you to take the time to seriously consider the following:
 1) Are you ready to make a long-term commitment? ACDs can easily live well into their teens or twenties.
 2) Does everyone in the family want to adopt this dog? Raising a dog often requires a team effort.
 3) Can you afford the animal? The cost of a dog is more that just the adoption fee. Think about the cost of food, vet bills, training and supplies.
 4) Are you committed to making this animal a good citizen?  We want all of our rescue dogs to become good ambassadors for the breed and well trained dogs are not only a pleasure to live with, but are also welcome in public.
